Any electronic component is capable of being dodgy just at times, eg if it has a dry joint, that will do it.
Any boost induced misfire is very likely to be lack of sparks due to bad coil as this is the hardest time to generate spark due to the cylinder pressure, the higher it is the harder it is to spark for the plug the more voltage it needs.
