Jon....are you sure you've got two lines feeding the rails......how many lines run under your car - 2 or 3??

If indeed you have one pump per rail i would imagine that each rail would then go back to the single fuel regulator - i.e. line each side.

Otherwise the line in would feed one rail - then go through a pipe that would join the two rails together then at the end of the second rail that would return to the regulator!!
