Would i be right in thinking that if i just bought the core pack for £189 i can put my hard-drive onto it with no problem at all and use the saved games that are on there with the new console.
That also means i can get mine fixed.....get the cheap copied games to see what i like then buy the genuine ones for the other X-Box and play online
yes tiff, you can use your hd on a core console, i bought a core system the day they came out, had to have 5 replacements due to the red lights, and all worked fine with my hd
