they are pretty durable when it comes to thing like that , a lot of them are sealed and the circuit boards covered in glue anyway , even if water did get in there , as long as you dry them first they should work again

did you know £10 notes don't fall apart in the wash either , lost count of how many times that had happened when i forget there is a tenner in my back pocket of my work trousers !
