96 C is nothing to worry about, so long as cooling system is ok, this hot weather is doing it.
Alloy rads cool better than std ones, but copper is WAY better.
If you make a deflector to gon behind the bumper between the rad and bumper so no through flow of air can escape, this will help a lot as well, air always goes the easiest route, so a lot deflects UNDER the radiator, unless you prevent it.
