I agree 100% with you mate....thats just what came with the engine and its virtually a fresh head as it was only done recently and to a good standard. If It was me speccing the head no way would I have gone for 2xbd10's..

I might sell the pair and buy a single bd14 inlet...that way it'll set me up good for when i want to crank up the power at a later date..and the std exhaust cam is alright for 450bhp isnt it?
