I have recently fitted a turbo to my series 2. The car has been in the garage for nearly a year. The car was started it started first time and idles very smoothly. I let it warm up and gave it some gas it then spluttered and died. I started it again it did the same. I then thought it may have some air leak or some other issue so i took the dump valve off in case this was causing issue and replaced the boost pipes as the top one seemed to be collapsing. Anyway got starter pack on it and it just clicks. The battery is pretty weak but i dont think it would be this? Oil level was totally fine too. I turned the engine over by hand it seems pretty tight is this normal as im dreading a seized engine Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks
