Now about my set up.I have typed about this problem at lenght on the other thread all about quadrant failure.My clutch DID'NT disengauge with a Mk 4 pedal and MK4 quadrant,DID disengauge with a MK 5 pedal and modified(10 teeth cut off the end) Mk 5 quadrant,BUT the pedal sat miles too high.And that was with no frigging bolt in the pedal,if I fitted and turned the bolt the pedal went even higher!! So I now use a MK5 pedal with a MK4 quadrant and it works perfect AND sits at the correct height!!!So thats why I asked Dave y what quadrant is been used for the pattern,Im guessing MK 5 modified???So my next question is,how high will the clutch pedal sit????Regards,Micky
That's strange. I've done the AP mod as the AP website describes and the pedal can be adjusted perfectly with the bolt. With bolt almost out the pedal is on the floor and I can set it as high as I want. Works perfectly except for the snapping part.
