Ok, for any of you that have converted to a charge cooler...
ive picked up a rather large cooling unit to go on the rst engine im building at the mo. what i need to know is does it matter how its mounted, in repect to the way the water flows?
the water flows freely between all three water pipes.
is it likely to effect the cooling if i pump water in the wrong end? mount it on its flat side/on end?
im planning to mount the top large air pipe bit about 6 inches from throttle bodie, over the rocker of an rst engine.
then air into the cooler will come from the turbo throught 2x 90 bends.
the front 2 hoses will be in good position for the rad.
heres some pics together with the larger throttle bodie beside an efi escort one, the cross over pipe, and the alloy rad used for cooling, next to a fosters can and a 8plugs gang bar for size.
hope theres not too many pics here... will delete as soone as my queries r answered...
