Yeah the xtreme are aimed at fast road and light track, if you going hard track use you need either the 1155 or the Ferodo DS2500's as the 1144's will crack down the centre of the pad material ( as i found out on 2 sets of RST pads) Depends on what sort of track driver you are.

I have chosen 1144 for the FRS as i plan alot of road use and only the odd track day where i will go easy on the brakes. The RST i had used to get hammered to the limit on track use and i was always very very hard on brakes so i had to use DS2500's.

Now if i still had the ST170 and used that on track the xtreme pads would have been fine as a NA 170bhp medium weigh hatch doesnt build up enough speed/energy to need heavy brakes to slow it down between corners

BTW got xtreme pads in the missus fiesta zetec-s and they bite really well hot or cold and dont fade and feel just like 1144's to me

Forgot to say EBC = the biggest pile of shite you could fit to your car I have warped several sets of ebc discs and green pads on the RST and i know couple of guys having warped sets of discs and pads on the FRS's
