i need an accelerator cable to put in my mk4 escort with the same throttle linkage as a fiesta xr2. (im putting my old xr2 engine in my mk4 esc, but the throttle linkage is different as its a ohv engine) ...

so i need to know what model mk4 escort uses the same linkage as a mk2 xr2, cos when i go in a car place asking for advice they look at me blank lol.

does an xr3i have the same linkage to fit?? or a 1.4 cvh.
or will a xr2 throttle cable fit onto the mk4 escort pedal box?

need to know this asap if anyone can help cheers
