That is ignition-on locking. Auto-locking is when the car arms 20-30 seconds after leaving the car. IF the ignition is on, auto-locking does not activate.

Also, auto-locking only activates if the auto-arming is set. They are 2 very different things that people get confused VERY easily. I have had to explain the difference to many a customer when fitting a Clifford or a Toad to cars.
