RED diesel, is allowed to be used oin the road by those that are allowed mainly farmers etc.
My friend has been running HEATING OIL for 7 years, on his RANGE ROVERS, now on a 54 reg one without problem.
Every year at MOT time on his others he was told "JESUS IT RUNS CLEAN".
We add 2% KLOTZ TECHNIPLATE to the mix which works out at 11p a litre, spelt ELEVEN PENCE A LITRE.
Veg oil can be used without problem, but add a teaspoon of castor oil to every 10 litres.
Any yes it is UNDETECTABLE , as it has no dye in it, and heating oil is so much more refined than heavy crude(diesel), it comes from a slight different part of the tower to start with.
We had an engine that had over 200,000 miles on it always from day one run on heating oil, it also goes much better and does not smoke even when cold.
Buy your heating oil in the summer it's cheaper, my friend has a business and it uses heating oil, oddly the business uses as much oil in the summer as winter!!
