The kit includes EVERYTHING, apart from the SVA fees and MOT which is probably £200, since completeing its SVA nothing has needed to be changed, and nothing needs to be made look cool

Along the build you will be using various consumables, tooling etc.... dont get me wrong tools are an investment anyway but all additional costs to the build. But it would be nieve to think the 12.5k and you have the car for that ammount. 12.5k is the cost for a large airfix kit

As far as i'm aware the only things that are needed are more rivets, antifreeze, engine oil and brake fluid, toolings are an investment and not a build cost, i have the right tools to build one in my shed, so nothing specific is needed

I've seen my bros build 2 dax's and his accounts are meticulous, the little things really do add up.

thats the difference between a Dax and a westy though

BTW my bros RV8 Dax went for 15k in the end but also took a long time to sell. Kit cars dont sell quick but they can obtain good money. me personally I can think of much better ways to spend my money than a coffin on wheels

i agree they are fun, but i wouldnt wanna invest that much money in something so dangerous, i just borrow my friends one
