my time is not exactly worthless and is not infinite, but i would almost be willing to pay to do that as a hobby, so to do it and potentially be able to turn a profit would be brilliant

i did have a mk1 escort that i never finished. part of that was that i moved to germany and had to leave it behind, but it really only needed bodywork and paint to finish and they're something that i would not be happy doing and are not necessary on a kit car.

Chip-3Door no loan necessary

the original would depend on the standard of their work so far i suppose, but if you could buy a virtually unstarted one it could be cheaper.

do people recomend staying with one of the big names, caterham and westfield, or are any others, e.g dax, tiger etc worth considering> and i don't necessarily mean from a driving point of view, more from the resale point of view?

i think a bike engined one could be fun, but then again a 2 litre NASP with plenty of torque is plenty fast enough and would be great fun on track days and more flexible on the road.
