Just wait for someone to suggest the WD40 and a lighter trick

I think i read somewhere that if you spray the area in a strong mix of washing up liquid, they cant get the stuff off their legs and end up either snuffing it or "moving" on..

Makes plenty of bubbles though when it rains...lol
