Hi All my first post.

I've just put the ST170 discs and new pads on my XR4x4. All that I did was push the piston back to take the new pads, didn't disconnect the calipers, and reassembled it with the adapter bracket for the caliper. Everything should be great and I should be stopping on a sixpence, alas but no.

Now I have a very soft brake pedal that goes all the way to the floor. Although I didn't disconnect anything thought I'd try bleeding them them. Bleed them with the ignition off and got a pedal, great I thought, until I turned the ignition on and lost the pedal! When I turn the ignition on the ABS light does go off, but I a press the pedal hard it comes on. I'm stumped can't work out how I've broken my brakes! Please help!
