Lifetime warranty is not worth a wank.
I had a SNAP ON 3/8 drive torque repaired by them as pin broke inside, cost me £52 13 years ago, used once to torque something well within limits, bust fourth time I used it after repair, they told me I would have to pay again, it went in the bin!!
I now use TENG torque wrenches, they cost less than a snap on 1 minute warranty repair, and have lifetime warranty.
I have had one failed, there was a new one on my doorstep the next morning.
I use now a lot of SILVERLINE stuff lifetime warranty, snap on are a bit unrealistic these days with their warranty being no better than others and not as good as some others, they are still trying to trade on their old name IMO.
I have to date had no failures with anything SILVERLINE.
