Also if you are prepared to take a higher excess (say for example the cheapest quote that you have is based on this), you might find that the Greenlight one would be cheaper as well (if you asked for a higher excess to be applied).
I'm not saying this is the case, but many people forget that when the excess changes, the premium can change significantly as well.
I have a £500 excess and with all mods declared is just under £700

. However, I have a TOTALLY clean licence with all my points being over five years old. I'm also an old fucker approaching 40 and live in deepest darkest Norfolk

I've just checked the excess from Greenlight in £100 more than the quotes from other companys and they can't increase the excess to reduce the policy price.
As much as I don't want to I think I'm gonna have to move.
Hic wasn't competive either
