you need to find out what your companies osp (occupational sick pay) policy is. eg ours is 1 month full then 1 month half in yoiur first year of service. this works its way to top line of 6 months full, 6 month half. when people drop to half pay we pay ssp aswell. when off sick on full pay you theoretically get paid ssp but as ssp plus osp cannot exceed your normal salary, and because ssp is no longer reclaimable, you dont see it split out anymore.
ssp is 72.55 per week
