I have, previously (before tick tick tick noise started) dipped it in when both hot and cold and always had same amount of oil on the stick.. BUT..
I dipped it today after driving 20 - 30 miles and there was
nothing on the dipstick
So, Will dip it again tomorrow (cold) And put oil in if needed.

Im guessing that with the exception of the oil issue, if the other points are "fucked" then it is a mot failure?
