interesting reading this. My old s2 had a AP clutch with the recommended pedal mod, but the last owner had done this so i had nothing to compare it to, although it seemed to change gear fine as far as i can remember.

my current s2 hasnt got the pedal mod, is comletely standard. Ive put the engine in from my grey one but havent got car on road yet so i will have to wait and see.

but, im interested in the metal quadrant idea if anyone is gona get some made or could make one. One silly question......... metal ones that people have made up, i notice they dont have any teeth on them, does this matter? what do the teeth actually do as per standard quadrant
