The quadrants fitted to our cars are a "quarter" of a circle, hence where the name was derived from. There is no difference between a pre 95 and post 95 quadrant, its the pedal that varies. A post 95 quadrant is the same thing and still has the teeth on it for the pawl. Why exactly are you looking to fit one anyway

Yes i have heard of duct tape, and that puts me in the league with those RSi's i saw that wouldn't idle/smoked/had parts hanging off them - NO FUCKING CHANCE

if i keep it, it'll get repaired properly, can't stand bodging things up
Calm down dear its just a commercial you replied to my first post and now you must take responsibility

Perhaps i should explain If you look at the two quadrant types the early one is thicker around the pivot hole, whereas the later one is thinner and possibly weaker, so it could be a reason why theyre breaking at that point After you mod the later one they look the same so i was thinking of fitting the early one to the mk5 pedal as it'll be stronger maybe If you read my first post properly you would seen the reason why im changing it

I have an AP fast road clutch on my RS and im having trouble with the plastic clutch pawl shearing its teeth and slipping after a few hundred miles, i have just busted the second one in as many months
Okay so the gaffa tape idea a bit dodgy but why not put the car back together and get it out to the shows or something, you'll want to keep it and work on it more if its on the road, who cares if its tatty

dave_y keep us posted on the metal quandrants
