Unfortunately doing it like that would mean having well over £3k of stock sitting there (once you have bought five L8s and paid for them to be modified). Given the small margin of mark-up, it doesn't make economical business sense for the return involved

I honestly thought that we would be doing it how you suggest (as this WAS the plan), but the interest just hasn't been there. It seems to be the hardest thing in the world to part the average RS owner with their money - just look at all the "where is the cheapest?" threads and you'll know what I mean

I guess the reality of the situation is that all the add ons stu does as part of his latest L8 developments means that the ONLY thing the RP Labs really offers in addition is that it is self mappable, and the reality is that 99.9% of peopel would be terrified to map their own car (which is probably a good thing) so therefore doesnt interest them.
Shame, cause its a genuinely awesome product, especially the user interface.
