LOL, I thought my ears were burning

I have always supported the S8 and still do and am still adding features.
These have been slow to come as I dont own a YB present (yet )

Those who have had bad experience of support for that product have
mostly failed to follow my advice and therfore have only themselves to
blame. I admit I have been slow to react on some occasions but then I
dont do this full time and havent done for 3 years now.
If anyone else thinks they can design, build, write software, support
all by theirselves aswell as holding down a full time job and have a family
then they are most definately a better person than myself.
Yes I know I have only myself to blame for most of my fuck ups
and am only more than willing to own up for that.


As I have said before, I cant always answer the phone immediately as I
work during the day and am on the road quite a bit.
I will respond as soon as I can providing a message is left.
(those who have a pop at me and call can expect silence )


I dont have to provide any support any more legally but still do as the
last unit sold was well over 2 years ago and is out of waranty.

If you want to have a go at DIY mapping then the S8 is for you as its
easy to use and is cheap and reliable in itself.
If you dont the L8 is very well developed now and will do you but
you will pay for extra features.
(some of which I helped develop myself )
There have been some minor software issues that have been fixed
recently and updates for those are available.
(Transient trrottle response and ALS added)
Also FYI , Karl is able to map the S8 and has done many times with success.
He has complained about some minor issues that have subsequently been
sorted but has only ever said this to others and not myself.
Utimately, the choice is yours and/or your chosen tuner.

When you see how much the RP labs is, you will be better off with Autronic
or a fully modded L8 from MSD.

Ah my best buddy Phil is back on form.
When you have taken years to create something you have lived and
breathed as well as making sacrifices like I have done then I hope you
will realise things are not as easy as flogging ready made nazi car parts.
