mie is in the sump, but the sump has been drilled and tapped for this as i was using the sump plug but the risk of getting the wire snagged was too great
also, the bit you need to unplug isn't at the sender end, it's loads of miles away at the other end of the wire in the gauges that i've got
That's the good thing about the Defi's, you can disconnect the lead a few inches away from the sender

but you still fuck things up if the wire gets snagged and tears things out
