On my 88 s2, i have fitted full EFI XR3I wiring loom to mate up to a fiesta OFAB ECU. Everything in place and powered up but i have no output to injectors from ecu or trigger to coilpack. I have swapped the pins on ecu and snipped no2 pin on ign amp as stated on the rs bible website. The ecu is getting too hot whilst ign is on and i dont know why this is happening. Not sure what type of crank sensor it is, does it create a pulse or does it break one??as there is no live or earth at crank pins. I would expect to see something there but as i say im not sure on how it works.
