I dont know enough about american politics to know to what extent the religious nuts have managed to restrict space exploration so I cant comment on that.


But to me the more we learn about ourselves, the universe etc, the more it points to the fact that the bible is absolute horseshit in all the details of such things.


I find the whole concept of God a peculiar one, I would like it to be true, but it just doesnt seem to have ANY basis that makes sense, and all religions get round this "minor issue" by just saying "you have to have faith, you dont need any evidence and you must not think about it for yourself"
