Has anyone tried dropping the Clips into hot water before fitting to stop them snapping?
My mate who works at Ford did this when restoring his Saph and said it stopped them snapping.
i heated mine up with a hot air gun and it does help to fit them
they just go brittle again when cool though, so still snap at the slightest impact
i wouldn't want to be screwing aluminium to the steel sills, it's asking for corrosion problems
