I have an AP fast road clutch on my RS and im having trouble with the plastic clutch pawl shearing its teeth and slipping after a few hundred miles, i have just busted the second one in as many months
The pedal on the AP website has an adjusting bolt fitted, does this replace the pawl on the old type adjusters? how does this work compared to the old type? do i need a mk5 or mk6 pedal or are they the same? do i keep the mk3 clutch cable?
Sorry for all the questions

im just abit miffed with these clutch ratchets keep breaking, luckily it happened near my house and not at Castle Combe
Thanks in advance

Indeed the bolt does replace the pawl, but as has been proven here fitting this to the earlier cars, when the correct adjustment is obtained the bolt is pressing against the quadrant at a bad angle and presents a lot of stress so it ends up snapping anyway
Did you make it to castle combe? Think i may have seen you on the track parade
