Default Can someone explain something to me about V8s?

I was just thinking today, that V8s are usually two banks of 4 cylinders with the one cam per head, right?

Well modern 4cyl engines are twin cam per head.... how come this doesn't get used for V8 heads? Would it be a nightmare to implement?

Or am I missing a very simple answer??
