It's a tough call call IMO, you need to find a way to be happy about it in your head otherwise you will be 'off' with her when she returns, even if you don't know you are doing it and that will drive a wedge between you anyway.
Why not just let her get back and tell her you've been worried. Not the second she gets off the plane preferably though!! She might be really sincere in her answer and that's really the best you can do.
