Ni hao(Chinese greeting) I need some understanding of YB exhaust manifolds.

I see ads for Sapphire Cosworths in 2wd fitted with 4Be exhaust manifold and ads for 4BE's with 2wd exhaust manifolds.

Is it safe therefore to assume that a 2wd with run better on a 4BE manifold and a 4Be better on a 2wd one - or is this a load of b*@@*cks?

And whilst on the topic of exhaust manifolds - which is better tubular or cast? Performance wise and cost wise!
