Another tip incase you are fitting new black caps. I put mine on with ease. Place the new cap onto a car washing sponge with the dome side down and the captive dome onto it so its ready to go in then smack it hard once square on with a rubber mallet or similar,One swift hit and they go straight in otherwise they take fucking ages !!!! Do remember to lightly grease them first as they rot from the inside out.
