you say your stuff is cheap and that's a bonus, if cost cutting is your thing then a cosworths not really the motor for you !!!

your right in that cheapo oil wont bring about a costly rebuild straight away, but it will certainly bring it on sooner than good oil.

What a load of rubbish m8 ,I can see that you are one of the large group of RS owners who have , over the years , made motorfactors the rich people they are today. If millers oil is priced at £25 for 5 litres and mobil 1 is priced at £32 for 4 litres then neither are "cheapo" oils, it just means that come service time, The engineering firm i buy from get £25 from me , whilst Halfords get £64 from you, they are both fully synthetic motorsport competition oils tested on the track and engineered to protect high performance turbo-charged engines, so ask yourself ....Why did you have to pay almost three times the price, i'll tell you , because Mobil 1 only sell in 4 litre quantities and you needed 4.5 litres to oil change your cossie so you had to buy 2 cans. Now ask yourself , Does Mobil motorsport not know that cossies rquire 4.5 litres......of course they do, thats why they only produce in 4 litres, they want you to have to buy 2 cans hence my original RIP and OFF comment. So spare me any more ill informed and mis-quoted replies about cost-cutting,cheapo oils and costly rebuilds and i'll not mention sayings like "a fool and his money.........."
