As above, that mark means nothing, as the dissy/cam might of been changed since someone made that mark, or even a head skim, which will all put that mark out, (even if it was correct at the time??)


Use a timing light, and the marks on the lower cam belt cover, and TDC mark on the lower pulley.

you will need to remove and block the ecu vacum/bost feed, and set the rpm to around 900 rpm for this test.

Even better, is to set you timing up using det can's. Advance to det, and retard 2-3 degrees. Then check static idle timing as reference.
