Well at last I found a tv that suited my requirement, I went for the KDL40w2000 which I must say is stunning

However when using my xbox I have noticed its says 480i in the corner of the screen.

Strangely enough for a Sony item the manual is crap and I'm guessing thats the resolution ?

What inputs do you need to use to get full 1080 or is it using that all the time ? I've not done that much looking into these things, I just got something that was well reviewed and rated by magazines.

I'm using the component leads with my xbox if that makes any difference

Not really sure why I'm complaining as the picture is amazing, but if the tv has more potential then I would like to make the most of it
