this was on e of the topics of dicussion the other night, how one car can't really be good at both top end and the 1/4 mile
which then went on to what contitues a road car
and then what consitutes road fuel
and then what consitutes keeping within the freindly spirit of driving to a show on pump fuel and road leagal tyres, giving it some beans and then driving the same car home again with nothing other than the boost turned down and the tank being empty

i'm sure osmeone will be able to get a 10 second sierra without spending too much money on it if you have the right gears for it
7 speed with a 1:1 7th so that once the engine is in the power band, it's only going to be dropping 1000 revs per gear change and will be banging off the limiter in 7th just at the right time it crosses the line
but then agian, will that make a nice car to be able to drive to the shops and putting child seats in the back and all that
