Yep. Beyond a joke. Just got out of work and we had rain, then it stopped and instantly turned into an ice-shower (seriously was much worse than a hail-storm).

Lumps of ice the size of your thumb-nail bouncing off the cars so hard it was making the bonnet flex up and down it was that hard. Felt like someone was throwing stones @ the cars. 15 solid minutes mixture of that and rain. Motorway was flooded in 3 places within 3 miles and my exit off was flooded over the kerbs
