A lot of that is the Army mate.
The RAF have just had a 2nd bout of redundnacies in certain area to get rid of people as they had too many !
They've got rid of them to "save money" on their wages compared t onewer recruits. False economy. They've been given cash redundancy, but their savings on wages will go toward training the new recruits. Plus they've lost so much experience it's silly.

, we are vastly undermanned, and underfunded and overstretched. Lads are doing 4 or 5 6 week dets in one year

, and thats to shit holes like Kandahar, basrah etc

The tac transport fleet and support helicopter fleet are having a crap time at the moment, place to be is typhoons, doing fook all apart from Vegas
