Exhaust(ports) are VERY restrictive on a cossie, I would just loosen up this side of things first before trying to shove more exhaust down there.
The ports are too small and shrouded, even a std power engine will benefit greatly from a bit of porting, on exhaust ports, this would also allow it to make more use of the larger turbine.
