www.freedom2choose.co.uk have just applied for a judicial review to the smoking ban, not to overturn it, but to have it ammended to allow smoking/no smoking areas in pubs etc. no smoking at the bar etc, much the same as it was before really. About time someone stood up for smokers,
the non smokers won't like it, but just like we've had to accept the ban, so they'll have to accept the ammendments if it goes through.
Im sure that as long as non-smokers dont have to smell or breath in the smoke, then they wont have any problems with it at all mate.
Although i cant see any ammendments being made personally as its worked fine in Scotland and Wales for a while now and many smokers even agree with the reasons behind it.
Anyway, i have an idea, i might try and ram half of my pint down a non-drinking smokers throat, just to see if he/she likes it.
Maybe they'll understand a bit more using this method.
