have a 97 r reg escort gti and when i switch on the abs light comes on and then goes out as it meant to, however if its wet or i go through a large puddle the abs light comes on & stays on,if i then switch the engine off for a while & then switch it back on the abs light stays on and doesnt go out, however if i then start to drive the light then goes out and then its back to normal. Its very intermitant any ideas whats wrong?
