It wont move all that much with the driveshaft still connected, maybe 3 inches or so?

The driveshaft is easy to remove and line back up. But once that's clear it'll loosen right up and the spring should be easy to remove. If you have skinny hands like me I removed to bumpstop through the spring which helped a wee bit
