I was always told and under the impression tuning boxes just dump lots of excess fuel in and that's about it. Where as a remap changes the boost and all kinds of things. So a Tuning box is bad for your injectors as they cause stress etc. I could be talking out my arse here though as It's only what I've been told when asking about them in the past.
