Sky should only get buggered up if the rain is pretty heavy/torrential. If it's going nuts when the rain isn't that bad, it usually means your dish needs to adjusted, probably just ever, ever so slighty.
The wind got hold of mine one day, so once it calmed down, I just went up on the roof and shoved it back the opposite way, only a few mm's and it all came back on.
COntinued to get no signal in rain/wind until I finally got off my lazy ass and got the dish tightened up in the correct position - not had any trouble since!!
The reason sky is more prone, is because that signal is digital, which is more precise than analgoue, therefore your dish needs to be 100% bang on to get good pics in all weather.
I'm wondering what's gonna happen when the terrestrial stuff is digital too, might have the same probs!!
Yes digital signal gives you better picture, but is so much more prone to being affected unfortunately
