hi guys i have just been putting the final touches to the 2000E (cant afford a cossie yet) as had to change the engine as had been run on diesel, then fired only running on 3 cylinders and huge oil leak.

now got the new 2.0l dohc engine in and working, new plugs, drained the fuel tank and filter. engine seems to run ok just a bit worried as when i bought the engine heard it running and was fine but now it has lots of smoke coming from the exhaust.

the car is on a slop with tail down could this be part of the problem with oil sitting to the back of the engine higher than it should.
been sujested it could be the rings or valve guides.
the plugs are all clean no black on them. it getts worst when it gets hotter if this gives ne other ideas. and the smoke is a bluey-grey, thought to be oil.

ne ideas guys?
