So say they get out 10 days early. That's £100 they have. Is it a full payment? If so, that £100 would be spent by the majority of crims on beer and drugs 1st night out. Day 2: skint again. PLUS: If someone does their full term, they come out with nothing & have to start earning/ benefit claiming from scratch that day..why should it be any different if someone comes out early?
Its different because if you are let out early you can't claim benfits at all... no housing etc etc....
If you give people no option to reform then your never going to get people out of crime....

the thing people forget though alex is prison is not ment to be a punishment but ment to reform people,,, the more serious the crime the longer it takes to reform,,,,, ok its also ment to be a deterent too but thats another matter
as for doctors not being paied enough,,,,,, there on about 60k a fucking year,,, its there HOURS that are the issue,, nurses get paied 30k a year,,,, reason i know is thats what my missus is going to uni for
firemen get paid 20k a year,,, for 4 days work,,, 2 of em sleeping unless theres a shout to attend,,,,, but that aint actually common at 2am though in most places these days
the police get 25k a year
now jemma,,, how much do YOU get paied,,,, bet you get paied LESS than them,,,, so why shouldnt YOU get more money then ???,,,, are you not ment to live in comfort ?
dont listen to all the crap you hear on the news,,,, most people get paie under 20k a year,,, yet the tube workers and other public sector workers want more cash,,, just cause they want more cash
