Was he doing the hand movements too?

ANYWAY, back on topic, don't get an MGF unless you know a good mechanic. If the head gasket hasn't gone, it will.

I personally would go more for a car that was built specifically as a coupe/t-bar/drop top like the Mx5, Mr2 etc. EDITEDD TO ADD even the later Pug CC's are quite good if you can stretch your budget.

I've always found that full convertibles [converted from normal model cars and without the cabrio roll bar] are fun to be in but drive like shit. Saabs, 306 Roadsters, Astra Convertibles etc are IMO horrible to drive with the roof down. Horrible. Scuttle shake...

Golf Cabrios are good too for that price though

the headgasket issue on the K-series has been sorted,,, what you need is a landrover freelander k-series headgasket,,,, ive got a infomation pack that was made up by one of the people who solved it,,,, he promises me it is REALLY solved finally,,,, shame its not done in enough time to save rover

fordsportjay has a 325i cabrio for sale for 3k,,, best fucking bargain ive seen for a LONG time,,, infact tempted to buy it myself

MGF is not a good idea as front bumpers are not available for them,, as is ALOT of parts,,, but the headgasket issue is sorted now
