And when was the last time you heard of an insurance company not paying out for the third party ? They will pay without question, however if your fully comp then they will of course tell you to go fook yourself for your own damage!!!

but as the car has no mot and he was driving it then teh car wasnt road worthy, hence some insurance companies can say its invalid due to the car not having mot etc
end of the day if that person wants to go through insurance then he is going to have to contact his insurance company to see where he stands
but im sure the car has to have a mot and tax to be insured
